Derek ha inoltre collaborato col le ONG locali per fornire opportunita' educative per le comunita' svantaggiate. Uno tra i fondatori di Abbey Road , Derek ha una vasta esperienza in materia di istruzione,scienze sociali e di gestione ,lingue straniere e viaggi

Ha conseguito una laurea in letteratura francese presso la Louisiana State University (1998) , un dottorato in scienze dell'educazione ed in lingua francese presso l' Emory University (2002).
Le sue ricerche sulla Motivazione e l'Apprendimento delle lingue attraverso soggiorni all'estero sono apparse in svariate riviste scientifiche,tra cui Foreign Language Annals (2003-2010), il Jurney of Studies in International Education (2010) ed ha inoltre pubblicato un libro intitolato “ Identity and Second lenguage learning”(2007).
Heather ha contribuito alla realizzazione di uno studio accademico sul Metodo di Abbey Road per l'istruzione,pubblicato e presentato in occasione di conferenze accademiche in tutto il mondo.

Ha una grande passione per le arti dello spettacolo e ha prodotto, diretto e montato da oltre 40 produzioni teatrali per bambini e adolescenti a New York e Los Angeles. Ellen è particolarmente appassionata per il suo lavoro e mantiene delel relazioni strette con la rete di ex-alunni Abbey Road, per i quali svolge delle mansioni di tutoraggio e consulenza accademica.

Ha conseguito la laurea in storia dell’arte presso l'Università di Nizza nel 1996 e ha oltre 12 anni di esperienza nello sviluppo di programmi di studio e l'insegnamento delle lingue europee, oltre alle competenze in materia di cultura francese conseguite attraverso il lavoro e l’impegno con diverse organizzazioni socio-culturali. Fabien lavora stretto contatto con le famiglie ospitanti di Abbey Road in modo da favorire e rendere stabili quelle ottime relazioni con le comunità loclai di cui da anni approfittano gli alunni Abbey Road o. Oltre al francese, la sua lingua materna,Fabien parla correntemente inglese, italiano e indonesiano.

Dopo la laurea si trasferisce a Siena per seguire un master di traduzione letteraria e modifica del testo dallo spagnolo all'italiano.
Lavora inoltre per una casa editrice in Toscana dove pubblica diversi romanzi come traduttrice ed editrice.Nel 2006 collabora con il dipartimento italiano presso l'Emory University (Atltanta,Georgia), insegnando cultura italiana e lavorando come direttorice per un film documentario sulle culture della danza del sud Italia.Lavora come insegnante di spagnolo ed italiano sia negli Stati Uniti che in Europa ; parla correttamente lo spagnolo,l'inglese ,il portoghese e approfondisce studi sulla lingua araba, catalana e Francese.
E' attualmente candidata per un dottorato presso l' Emory University,dipartimento di spagnolo e portoghese .

Dopo il suo master nel 2002 , ha lavorato come docente universitario di lingua e letteratura spagnola presso la New York university, Fordham e USC.
Gli piace viaggiare in tutto il mondo, ha passato molto tempo in Sud America ,Europa e Nord Africa.Parla correttamente lo spagnolo,l'italiano ed il francese.

Attualmente stà completando il suo master in archeologia presso l'Universita' di Oxford.
John ha partecipato allo studio sui soggiorni linguistici all' estero ad Atene-Grecia ed a Venezia-Italia ed ha anche trascorso due estati lovorando presso scavi in Giordania.
Ex-alunno dell' American Corps , in possesso inoltre di un master ottenuto presso il City College di New York in “Educazione”.
Ha una vasta esperienza in viaggi in Europa,America latina e Medio Oriente.

Ha ottenuto la sua laurea presso la Layola Marymount University in” Musica”ed un master in “Musica del Rinascimento Fiorentino e Prime Sinfonie Tedesche” presso la Universitity of Santa Barbara.
Dopo aver completato il suo master,Jeanne comincia il suo dottorato,lavora in Italia e vive all'estero per molti anni.
Ha partecipato a molti programmi di Storia e Lingua rivolti a programmi di sviluppo all'estero,dal Programma di solidarieta' Transatlantica presso il Goethe Institute in Germania,al Programma Fulbright-Hayes l'estate scorsa in Cina , a studiare le capotali antiche e contemporanee della Cina.
Jeanna parla correttamente l'Italiano e il tedesco e tiene conversazioni in mandarino e Francese.

Karl ha sviluppato un particolare interesse per le opere uniche al mondo di Pergaud durante gli anni di studi presso l'Università di Franche-Comté, nel Centro di Linguistica Applicata di fama mandiale della città di Besançon (Francia). Ha conseguito anche una laurea in Lingua e Letteratura francese all’Università Stony Broo. Inoltre, Karl è un esperto nell'insegnamento delle lingue straniere, per cui ha sviluppato programmi di studio e ha insegnato per quasi venti anni. Parla correntemente inglese, francese e giapponese.

Ha ottenuto la sua laurea in Plan II Honors ed in Inglese presso la University of Texas ad Austin dove si e' specializzata in classici francesi ed ha ottenuto il suo master in “Mente e Cervello” ed un programma di educazione all'“Harvard University graduate school of education”.
Patricia si e' servita della sue competenze di progettista didattico e consulente curricolare per aziende ed organizzazioni no-profit in tutti gli Stati Uniti ed e' stata foondamentale nello sviluppo del del programma Pre-college di Abbey Road.
Vive ed insegna a San Francisco ; parla correttamente francese e tiene conversazioni in Russo e spagnolo.

Most recently, he taught “Ancient Rome” at Northeastern University in Boston and is slated to be a teaching fellow for “Roman World” at Harvard in the Fall. Chris lived in Rome while pursuing his B.A. and lived in Paris while performing medieval manuscript research under his adviser for an upcoming edition of the Corpus Christianorum. He gives lectures on ancient art at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, conserves cuneiform tablets at the Semitic Museum at Harvard University and recently received a fellowship from Harvard to design a multimedia museum exhibit focusing on Greek and Roman coins. Chris also acted as a Freshman Adviser at Harvard from 2010-2012. He has been faculty on two previous Western Civilization programs for Abbey Road. In addition to specializing in ancient history, art and archaeology Chris is also an avid coffee roaster and gelato connoisseur, skills which come in come in handy in Italy. When not teaching, he trains for ultramarathons and races for Harvard’s cycling team.

After completing her B.F.A., Lindsay moved to Europe where she has lived for the past seven years. She has a wide range of experience in the fields of art and design, including work for the MTV Music Awards and other events in the fashion world and teaching art workshops to inner-city youth in America and London. Currently she lives as an artist in London and exhibits internationally. Lindsay has worked for Abbey Road for 5 years as the head drawing teacher. She believes that it all begins with a pencil and paper! Lindsay enjoys studying Italian lifestyle, culture, food and the arts, while continuing with her own painting practice. She speaks Italian fluently.

His studio practice is focused primarily on painting and drawing, but he works across a wide variety of media, allowing ideas to take precedence over material. William obtained his B.A. in Studio Art and Art History from Pitzer College in 2008. Since graduating, William been showing his work in New York City, Los Angeles, and throughout the United States in a range of settings, from alternative art spaces, galleries, museums, and art fairs. William has worked for Abbey Road for four years, teaching drawing and Tuscan cuisine in Florence. Alongside his art practice, Willie is an avid cyclist, musician, foodie, and animal lover. He currently lives and works in Dallas with his fiancee and fellow artist, Tammy, their dog, Scout, and their two cats, Tex and Buck. Hannah spent a significant amount of time in Florence, Italy living, working and using the city as inspiration in her artistic practice, something that greatly aids her in teaching experiential digital photography courses with Abbey Road. For the past two years, she has worked as a freelance photographer and photography assistant. Her passions are photography, Italy and soccer. Hannah is fluent in Italian.

She is currently serving as a professor of Spanish at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she also completed an M.S. in Spanish Literature in 2010. Encarnación loves the culture of Spain, particularly flamenco music, and has lead many workshops in Flamenco dance during her summers with Abbey Road. She is fluent in Spanish.

José currently teaches at a magnet school for the Arts in Atlanta where he is also the school’s tennis coach. He has worked for Abbey Road for over five years, first as an instructor and then as a Program Director for several programs including Florence and Cádiz. His main interests are traveling, foreign languages and films, international foods, and tennis. In addition to his native fluency in Spanish, José also speaks Italian and Portuguese.

Ilene has worked in various educational settings, most notably on the founding staff of a start-up charter school in Harlem, where she was later the Dean of Students, and through Teach for America. She is now a teaching artist in Manhattan, coaching adults and children through the intricacies of creating stellar images. In her spare time, she shoots events and portraits while running her own photography business. Ilene is fluent in Spanish.

Paul obtained his B.A. from Tufts University and later went on to complete his M.A. in School Counseling from NYU. A native of Boston, Paul thoroughly enjoyed his work on the College Prep Program at Emerson College in 2010. A dynamic and enthusiastic academic with experience in the entertainment industry, Paul uses his diverse background and personal experience when working with students.
