We finally made it to Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferat this week. We spent an afternoon enjoying the beach and doing some watersports at the Club Aquatique. Some of us paddle-boarded while others went kayaking.
Then, in the evening, we got to amp up our culinary skills when we went to L’Hôtel Frégate and prepared 3 courses.
Pauline instructed us on how to work in a professional kitchen. For some of us it was the first time preparing recipes from start to finish.
For an appetizer, we made three tartes salées from scratch. For our main course, we grilled pork cutlets and prepared a ratatouille. For dessert, we made two clafoutis, one blueberry and one cherry. Afterward we got to relax and enjoy our creations in the dining room overlooking the Port de Saint Jean. -Jacob Hickey
