Dear family and friends,
Here we are, ready for our first real week in Florence. Classes started this week, along with many amazing activities.
On Monday, after our daily group morning meeting, everybody started their major classes (art history, super art, photography, and Italian) and after lunch, their afternoon electives. Both the students and teachers were so excited! Then, as a real Italian family, students and staff had their first grocery shopping trip in a real Italian supermarket, just the way Italians do.
After afternoon classes, students had their time to chill, hang out, walk around, and have dinner together as the Abbey Road family likes. To end our first day as Abbey Road students in Florence, we went tonight for a walk and gelato in the historic center of Florence. This is our first Italian gelato: what taste will be the best one?
These first four days since we got here were intense and full of emotions and excitement: we are definitely ready for this full week!
