Today students took a breather, having a free morning to either explore the castle perched above the town or stroll through the beautiful streets of Salzburg in search of chocolate and gifts for the home.
Later in the afternoon, we took a lake and mountain tour around three gorgeous lakes right outside Vienna: Mondsee, Wolfgang See, and Fuschlsee. Students wanted to stay and jump in the emerald green, crystal clean water. It afforded some of the most spectacular sights of the whole trip!
In the evening, students broke into two groups; some went to hear several Mozart pieces played by a string quartet at a famous palace in town, while others went to a marionette theater to hear a production of the Sound of Music.
