I am beyond excited to embark on such an incredible adventure as well as to gain an insight to the beautiful Italian language!
I cannot wait to meet new people and forge bonds I am sure will last a lifetime. After we have all experienced a once in a lifetime opportunity together, we will remember it for the rest of our lives!
Something else I am looking forward to is challenging myself and gaining independence I might not have discovered until later on in my life.
The realization has hit me that I only have four weeks left until I leave for Florence, and I can’t quite contain my excitement! I am thoroughly looking forward to tasting all the different flavors of gelato and learning to speak another language that perhaps I would never of gotten ’round to had I not signed up for this program.
I will be counting down the days until it is time to leave for the airport to start my adventure of cultural immersion, experience the beautiful city of Florence, and make lifelong friendships!
