I cannot believe my last day in St-Laurent-du-Var has finally arrived…
This month has truly gone by in the blink of an eye, and I think that attests to my love of all things Abbey Road. I love everything from my wonderful homestay family and the incredible bonds I’ve made, to Helene, Alexis, and Leslie (the staff) and the endless amount of unbelievable activities. I feel so lucky. If any prospective students are reading this post, take my word for it, and do it. I promise you will thank me later!
For a perfect end to a perfect trip, the kids of St-Laurent-du-Var and the kids of Nice gathered for a night of eating, dancing, and a talent show. I was absolutely blown away by all of the talented voices in the group!
As this trip comes to a close, I dread to say those bittersweet goodbyes. They are bitter, because I cannot imagine going back to my everyday life without all of the wonderful people I met here and a French baguette in hand. But I also say sweet, because I feel so blessed to have had this opportunity, and I will carry the memories with me everywhere I go.
