After settling in with our host families, we were ready to take our first day trip.
Each of us had heard about the luxuries found in Monaco, and we could not wait to finally visit! After a long drive with beautiful views from each window, we entered the city of the rich and famous! The sights were as beautiful as I expected, if not more. I loved seeing the exotic animals at the aquarium and learning their French names (like l’hippocampe for sea horse). 
I visited the Palais Princier de Monaco and was blown away by the beauty of the architecture, decorations, and royal lifestyle. We used the French audio tours and I feel like my French is already improving after speaking so much with my host family. I am so grateful for this experience and am simply enjoying my stay in St-Laurent-du-Var! -Amy
