On day six, Modern Europe
students bid Germany “aufwiedersehen” and embarked on a journey to our next stop: Prague.
After a short puddle jump to Amsterdam, we landed in Prague in the afternoon and checked into our hotel, a short walk from the main historical center of lovely Prague. Leaving behind the rainy weather of Berlin, Prague greeted us with sun, its cobble-stone streets, beautiful Art Nouveau buildings, and throngs of tourists from around the globe.
Before heading to dinner at a restaurant right around the corner from the historical center, we walked around Stare Mesto (the center square) and took a trip up the famous bell tower to get our first glimpse of the city’s architectural marvels.
Dinner was goulash and potato pancakes, starting off an amazing spree of excellent food that Prague has to offer.
