Hello!
My name is Brittany, and I am sixteen-years-old. I live in New York, and I am going to Florence and Rome with Abbey Road Programs this summer!
I think excited is an understatement for how I feel about my trip… One thing that I am most excited for is to experience the culture of Florence by visiting tourist spots, enjoying the food, and interacting with the locals. I am also very excited to see myself grow as a person through this experience.
I sincerely appreciate different cultures and love trying new things. The classes I will take are Italian language as my major and art history as my minor. I really enjoy learning new languages and think it will definitely benefit me later on in life. I have not necessarily ever really been educated on art history, and I thought Abbey Road’s course was the perfect way to become educated in the subject. What better place to learn about art history then the epicenter of The Renaissance itself, Florence?
