Today is definitely a bittersweet one. All of us are completely fulfilled with what we’ve gained from the city of Florence, but at the same time, we don’t want to leave. We spent the day packing, cleaning, and hanging out. We made sure to go to our favorite gelato place for the last time.
I was walking down the streets of Florence, on my way to lunch, and I started remembering the very first day when we go off the bus with our heavy luggage, not knowing what to expect. I can easily say Florence has given me so much more than I ever expected. Every day brought a new piece of art or food, and I never went a day without being amazed by something I saw or learned about the city.
I will miss Florence so much… I can’t wait until I come back, because I know I will fall in love with it all over again. The only thing I can’t be upset about is that now we are going to see Rome, a place that I have always wanted to see.
