Educational travel helps students immerse themselves in another culture, learning by experience: tasting and smelling the food of a new culture, hearing and seeing the bustle of a new city, and meeting the people who live there. Abbey Road’s student travel programs allow students to study abroad, spending the summer in their favorite European countries, learning the language by speaking it with shopkeepers and new friends; experiencing the culture by cooking traditional dishes and learning new hobbies; and studying the history by seeing walls built long ago.
Abbey Road offers academically rigorous summer travel programs that are rich in cultural immersion. Students return feeling more confident academically and more proficient in the language of the country they visited, often earning better grades and higher SAT scores. After living in a new country, fully immersed in its culture, language, and hobbies, students bring home more confidence and a greater understanding of the world.

See the World With Abbey Road
Abbey Road’s teen summer programs in Europe offer a range of experiences. Students may choose from three different programs in France: Nice, Saint-Laurent-du-Var (Cote d'Azur), and Aix-en-Provence. Abbey Road’s Western Civilization program takes students to Paris, Florence, and Rome. Abbey Road also offers programs in Cádiz, Spain, and in Florence, Italy.
