Yesterday was my first day in Cadiz, and it was incredible!
After spending a whole day getting here, it was good to be able to relax and enjoy this beautiful city with my new friends. It was really fun meeting my new roommate Jack and my host mom Pepi.
Yesterday morning, we had a short meeting at the school, and then we headed for the local beach of Cadiz. At the beach, we got to go swimming and play some beach soccer. After that, we went home to shower and get ready for the dinner with the whole group. At dinner we got to try some traditional Spanish food, and we got our prepaid cell phones. I had an amazing first day, and I hope that every day here will be as fun as today was! -Gabe
