After a whole week of classes and activities, unwinding by going to the city of Lucca was perfect.
When we arrived at Lucca, we had free time to walk around with friends, shop, and eat lunch. The town was filled with cute shops and street performers either singing or selling artwork. After a few hours to spend amongst our friends, we met back and got on bikes. Lucca had a beautiful trail for bike riding, and being able to experience the path was amazing. Everywhere I looked there was a stunning view overlooking the town below the trail. Bike riding was a fun way to relax and enjoy time with friends. By the time we left everyone was more than satisfied with the views the ride gave us, and some were even upset to leave.
To end the day we all ate a catered dinner on the apartment patio. Sitting with the whole group of people was great, because we were able to discuss how amazing the day was. To top of a long relaxing day we had the option of going to the center of Florence where we had free time. The scenery and experience of today is unforgettable.
